Data minimisation 2. Storage limitation 3. Integrity and security 4. Lawful basis via consent/legitimate interest EERA will: - respond to Subject Access Requests within one month - delete data after 12 months inactivity - report breaches to ICO within 72 hours - use secure processors only in the UK or adequate jurisdictions

CODE OF ETHICS & PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT – EERA EERA commits to fair, transparent and compliant recruitment and employment support. The business will: - Put people before profit and wellbeing before commission - Provide accurate representations to clients and candidates - Preserve confidentiality at all stages - Maintain objective shortlisting rationale - Promote inclusion and equal opportunity - Refuse any assignment involving illegality or discrimination - Document all decisions and communications - Maintain copies of ID and right-to-work evidence - Ensure marketing and advertising are not misleading - Separate optional candidate-paid services from recruitment decisions - Escalate legal-risk matters to solicitors or ACAS

COMPLAINTS & DISPUTE HANDLING POLICY – EERA Standards: - All complaints in writing - Acknowledgement within 3 working days - Fair investigation by neutral investigator - Outcomes recorded - Appeal pathway offered - Mediation option available where lawful - Escalation to ACAS or solicitor if legal risk

WHEN TO SAY NO POLICY – EERA Decline or refer if: - candidate fees for jobs requested - tribunal representation requested - discriminatory brief requested - unsafe data handling requested - criminal facilitation requested

These services are separate from recruitment decisions and free membership of the network.
