EERA is committed to making our website accessible to all users, including individuals with disabilities. We strive to ensure that our site meets the accessibility standards outlined by the WCAG guidelines.

EERA Accessibility Statement

Version 1.0
Effective date: 18 October 2026
Statement reference: 2026-10-18-v1.0

1. Our commitment

EERA LTD is committed to making its website, member experience and online portals accessible and usable for as many people as reasonably possible.

We want people to be able to access our recruitment, career-development, business-support and creative services regardless of disability, health condition, assistive technology or preferred way of accessing information.

We aim to work towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2, Level AA. We have not yet completed an independent full-site accessibility audit and therefore do not currently claim formal WCAG conformance.

2. What this statement covers

This statement covers:

  • the public EERA website at www.eerauk.com;

  • the Wix member-account experience;

  • the My EERA individual portal;

  • the EERA for Business portal;

  • forms, notices and policy pages operated by EERA;

  • downloadable EERA resources; and

  • communications and information supplied through those services.

Some linked websites and services are operated by third parties and may have their own accessibility statements and support arrangements.

3. How we are working to improve accessibility

EERA aims to use:

  • clear and consistent page headings;

  • meaningful link and button text;

  • readable font sizes;

  • sufficient colour contrast;

  • plain and understandable language;

  • keyboard-accessible controls;

  • visible focus indicators;

  • text alternatives for meaningful images;

  • labels and instructions for form fields;

  • clear error messages;

  • responsive layouts for different screen sizes;

  • content that can be enlarged using browser controls;

  • alternatives where a document or process is not accessible; and

  • human support where a digital route creates a barrier.

We also aim to avoid relying only on colour, position, sound or visual appearance to communicate important information.

4. Portal accessibility

The EERA portals are being tested for:

  • keyboard navigation;

  • logical focus order;

  • screen-reader labelling;

  • form instructions and validation;

  • mobile and tablet layouts;

  • colour contrast;

  • zoom and text resizing;

  • clear status and error messages;

  • accessible notices and consent choices; and

  • the ability to request human support.

The portals remain under controlled launch testing. EERA will not describe the portals as fully accessible or fully launched until the relevant browser, mobile, keyboard and real-account journeys have been checked.

5. Current known limitations

We are aware that some areas may not yet provide an equally accessible experience.

Historic documents and downloads

Some older PDFs, Word documents, spreadsheets, flyers or externally supplied materials may not be fully structured for screen readers, keyboard use or text reflow.

Contact EERA if you need a document in an alternative format.

Third-party services

Some website, booking, member-account, checkout, payment or embedded features are provided by third parties, including Wix and other service providers.

EERA may not control every aspect of their design, but we will help identify an alternative route where reasonably possible and will raise material accessibility issues with the relevant provider.

Demonstration and staging pages

A page labelled as a demonstration or sample workspace is not the final customer service. Demonstration pages may use fictional records and should not be used to submit real information.

New portal functions

Some live portal functions, document-upload journeys and connected account processes are still being configured and tested. Where a feature is not available or accessible, contact EERA for an alternative route.

6. Alternative formats and reasonable adjustments

You can ask EERA for information or support in another reasonable format.

Depending on the request, this may include:

  • a Word version instead of a PDF;

  • a simplified or plain-text version;

  • larger text;

  • information explained by telephone or video call;

  • additional time to complete a process;

  • an accessible interview or meeting arrangement;

  • captions or written follow-up;

  • assistance completing a form;

  • communication through an agreed representative; or

  • another reasonable alternative.

Please explain what barrier you are experiencing and what adjustment may help.

EERA will consider the individual circumstances, the purpose of the service and what is reasonable and practicable. You will not be charged for a reasonable adjustment that EERA is legally required to provide.

7. Recruitment and application adjustments

Candidates may request a reasonable adjustment relating to:

  • registration;

  • an assessment;

  • an interview;

  • communication;

  • access to information;

  • a test or task;

  • an event;

  • or another part of the recruitment process.

Requesting an adjustment will not reduce your recruitment priority or be treated as evidence that you cannot perform a role.

Only information reasonably necessary to arrange the adjustment should be provided through ordinary portal fields or email. EERA may provide a more suitable private route for sensitive information.

The employer remains responsible for its own recruitment process and workplace obligations, but EERA may help communicate and coordinate an agreed adjustment.

8. Reporting an accessibility problem

Please contact EERA if:

  • you cannot access information;

  • a page does not work with your keyboard or assistive technology;

  • a link or button is unclear;

  • a document is inaccessible;

  • a form prevents you from continuing;

  • text is difficult to read;

  • an error message is not understandable;

  • you need an alternative format;

  • or you have a suggestion for improvement.

It is helpful to include:

  • the page or document concerned;

  • the device and browser you were using;

  • any assistive technology being used;

  • what you were trying to do;

  • what happened;

  • and the alternative or adjustment you need.

Do not send passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information when reporting an issue.

9. How we respond

EERA will:

  • acknowledge the issue as soon as reasonably practicable;

  • investigate the reported barrier;

  • explain any immediate alternative available;

  • make a reasonable correction where possible;

  • record significant recurring issues;

  • and include relevant improvements in future reviews.

Some changes may depend on a third-party platform or may require technical work. Where an immediate correction is not possible, EERA will try to provide a reasonable alternative.
